Pet Super Adoption is a two day long event held in Los Angeles, CA, Salt Lake City, UT, and New York City, NY that strives to get as many adoptable animals as possible into kind and loving homes.
The first time I volunteered at Pet Super Adoption in 2011 I had the duty of helping vendors and rescues upload their booths and get ready for the day. It was a lot of work but SO WORTH IT! I also worked the adoption check out booth which was all kinds of amazing because I was able to see each and every animal that got adopted that day as they left with their new happy guardians.
My second experience volunteering at Pet Super Adoption was equally as successful and memorable as I spent the entire day helping out in the cat adoption tent. As most everyone who knows me understands, I am a crazy cat lady. I am pretty much certifiable. To be able to help in the adoption tent was nothing short of sensational and it was an experience I will never forget.
If you and/or your family ever decide to bring on another companion pet, please give Pet Super Adoption a chance. There are SO MANY animals available not only from Best Friends Animal Society, but breed-specific rescues as well!
